(NAPSI)-When you get a new car, it's important that you protect your investment.
Many cars on the market today have a powder-coated finish, to help maintain that showroom look. Powder coating is a high-tech finishing process that helps protect cars from chips and scratches as well as the damage caused by UV rays, harsh weather and acid rain. A powder clearcoat protects the beauty of a car's high-gloss finish, preserving its lustrous appearance and adding to its resale value.
BMW and Volvo are already using powder clearcoats on many of their new cars, and select models by Lincoln, Chevrolet, Mercedes-Benz and Dodge use powder clearcoats or primers. DaimlerChrysler's European Smart Car also uses powder coating on every bit of exposed metal.
