The Hyundai Genesis

Did you ever expect a new luxury sedan to come from Hyundai auto maker? In fact, 2009 holds great things for the company when they are slated to introduce their new Hyundai Genesis to the automobile market. The Hyundai Genesis has a lot of features that make it totally unique, and some car experts say that this luxury sedan is supposed to be competing with such automobiles as the Lexus and Mercedes luxury lines. But knowing that Hyundai already has great automobiles selling on the market is a good indication that they will live up the company's standards.

In early 2007 at New York, the Hyundai Genesis was introduced as the concept car. Even then it received rave reviews and automobile experts everywhere expect the Genesis to be as successful when it hits the market as when it was introduced as a concept car.

In fact, Hyundai says that nearly 90 percent or a little more of the concept Genesis automobile will make it into production, with the exception of a few minor details. For example, the vertical grilles on the front of the automobile may change to horizontal ones. Other minor changes include some other things to the front that just have to do with the Genesis' appearance.

The exciting feature about the Hyundai Genesis, though, is the fact that Hyundai has produced an all-aluminum 32 valve engine that is 4.6 liters and is a V-8 engine. The company will also produce a V-6 engine, but that will mainly be to make the price lower and make the car more accessible for lower-income folks. Accordingly, the 4.6 liter V-8 engine will more than likely be priced right around $35,000 if not more, but the V-6 engine version of the Genesis will sell for less than $30,000 so that it will appeal more to the price-savvy individuals.

Nevertheless, the Hyundai Genesis will definitely be a lifesaver to the company and will probably make Hyundai more popular with more people. Some of the other features that Hyundai has included with the vehicle include 8 airbags so that it will be totally safe for the driver and passengers, adaptive cruise control, stability features for the Genesis, as well as active headrests and a brake assist. These unique safety features all contribute toward the value of the car and will appeal to those concerned with safety.

Hyundai is mainly producing the Genesis as a rear-wheel drive automobile; however, they are also considering producing an all-wheel drive version of the Genesis as well so that it will also grab more consumers in the vehicle market. However, whatever other added features that Hyundai decides to pair with the Genesis will more than likely make it an even more successful vehicle. Resembling such luxury sedans, such as the Mercedes Benz E-class and the BMW 5-series, the Hyundai Genesis definitely will be a successful automobile that everyone everywhere should get excited about!
