2017 Jeep Wrangler Rust on Doors	Sign In

My 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU has rust on the hinges and is blowing back onto the doors and making them rust. Do you all know of a way for me to get the rust off the door and the hinges without taking them off or ruining the paint? Maybe a rust removal spray or wipe-on can help me? For all the ones I found online, you have to sand and repaint the whole thing. I was hoping not to go through that.

Why don't you post some pictures of what you are referring to.

There is a difference between rusted metal and rust stains on paint.

Asking if external hinges if this still does that as well as windshield?

IMO it wouldn't have to be a rust bucket by design old as WWII put up with lubing those a lot if ever used the paint is broken rust is coming.

Rust stains should remove choose a fav cleaner/wax product not abrasive IMO when off Q-tip that type (WD-40) will work but also wash away so as often as you get fuel if need be IDK if not pure brass or stainless it's going to do that the technology of a barn door is why they are so liked1
