2018 Suburban bumper cover
2018 Suburban. Struck front bumper cover with road debris. Caused the front inner park sensor bracket to dislodge from inner bumper cover. My plan is to reattach with glue. I'm having trouble removing the bumper cover enough to access the park sensor bracket area. Any suggestions? Body shop wants $1600 to replace the bumper cover. Thanks

What part is damaged, the bumper cover or the proximity sensor holder? A picture would help. These bumper covers are pretty easy to remove. You just have to know where they are attached. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

The proximity sensor holder is the only damage. It is not attached to the inside of the bumper cover. I've cleaned the bumper cover and there is no other damage. Thanks

It's not a big deal. Just get another sensor and holder from a junkyard. Try to find one already painted the right color and install it, assuming you are giving me an accurate description which I'm doubtful about.

It clearly tells you which formats work. It's all the common ones like jpg, jpeg, gif, bmp, png, pdf. You have to watch out for the size. Most phones take very high resolution pictures and have to be reduced in size.

It appears you are correct. There is a problem with the image uploads, not your picture. The bumper looks fine. You just need to get another sensor holder if the sensor itself didn't get damaged. You will have to remove the bumper cover to get clean access to the back. That's not hard. It's mostly just push pins and 10mm screws. There is a screw going straight up at each back corner behind the inner flap. After that is removed you can pull it away from the fender. It is just wedged into a pinch clip.
