Back bumper damage

Hey everyone! The back bumper of my 2012 Nissan Rogue has 3 little holes that I got from hitting a bush while I was getting out of the parking lot. The bush consisted of leaves and twigs. Moreover there is also something that looks like the paint was smeared and it doesn't seem to come off even with water and towels. Is there any way an unskilled person can repair this? If not how much would it cost to get a professional to repair? I can post pictures in a bit, but for the time being I would appreciate any advice regarding my problem.

 I'm trying to envision some reason the back bumper was needed to "escape" this parking (presumably in reverse) lot thru a bush that had paint on it??!!
No chance to know what it will take to fix or replace then paint,

Oops sorry I meant that aside from the holes, the bumper looks like it has a Paint smear. However I'm starting to think its a scratch. Sorry for the misunderstanding xD

Sometimes paint transfer is on your paint or sometimes your vehicles is gouged into another color. Holes - in the bumper (if you can call them that at all anymore) can be fixed by butchery that is unlikely to last or new stuff everywhere found damaged and painted back up again. It's a 2012 and I'd want it right. Hidden damage even if it didn't seem like a big deal may be there unseen.
This really needs a body tech/shop to look right at it with you and pick a course of best correction. Guess it wont matter but a paint mark could have been there from something else at another time?? Parking lots are like demo derbies - can't seem to help that,

Thanks for helping. A friend of mine suggested using bondo and touch up paint because the hole isn't clean through the bumper. However, I guess taking it to the shop would be better.

Is that the body style of the rear of this thing? Like almost everything now that's a skin of somewhat flexible plastic junk over literally Styrofoam with steel inside that for more total crash strength all unseen by that skin. Bondo (a brand named fiberglass filler) that probably makes a whole line of what I'll call hack repair junk on par with just putting duct tape over it.
It's pretty dang new so do you really want to hack this up or fix it? Pet peeve of mine is "bumper" is a lost word. It can't take bumps from much of anything without real damage. You'd probably go into cardiac arrest at what the real fix would cost. Who knows - there could be a back up monitor, tailpipes bent a bit or who could know without a real look at it?
Guess is this is all your expense so for the sake of letting an auto body repair tech give you an idea of how involved this could be OR what Band-Aid approach would be acceptable to YOU. If it was mine at a year old it would have all new materials/parts with whatever paint finish you have done as per the exact paint type and color. Just that can be very costly.
Why are you so reluctant to letting a pro give you some advice?

Yeah, the rear body style is similar to that. This seems to be the bigger bro to my rogue. Also, if what you say about Bondo is true then I would love more advice. What do you think I should do with this? I'll definitely have pictures of the damage up by tomorrow. However, there is one thing I would like to add about the damage to the rear and that is: it is not noticeable. A passerby would just assume it was dirt.

Go ahead with pictures. It wont help as what looks minor either may be or it may be squished in behind and just plastic popped back into position. Can't know that without a hands on inspection then price out a repair. If it isn't hurting anything and doesn't bother you then just leave it alone.
If any media you could muster could appraise the situation then insurance companies wouldn't have to send real adjusters out to look at auto body damage and many still leave their appraisal open to the final repair when everything is exposed and apart as needed.............

With HT here. The idea is to make it look like it never happened. Theres a lot more to it than you think. For instance, one brand of primer is incompatible with the paint of another and the clear coat of a third. I saw a guy doing a resto on a Camaro spend weeks filling, priming, sanding and laying down a color coat perfectly use the wrong brand of clear and 20 minutes later the whole clear layer curdled up. Stuff peeled off like birch tree bark when it dried.

Ya! Two buddies, beer, bondo, and sheets of sand paper if you want the Picasso look. Looks good far away until you get up close.
Actually I take that statement back. Don't matter how far you are away...
