Civic Scratched Paint Sign In

Hi,

My friend hit my car backing out of a driveway recently and I was wondering if anyone knew how could I fix the scratched paint? It appears to be the primer that is missing along with some paint near the edges above the tire. The car is a 2014 Honda Civic.

Thanks.

Looked at first two. IMO that's going to be an insurance claim on YOUR friend not you anywhere I know of. If no insurance on other vehicle if a vehicle it's still on the other person to fix not your expense.

General. One year old vehicles are usually allowed to use full new anything for parts not fixed up. Paint as needed would be new and can't be original again.

YOU may be shocked at what that could cost! My guess and can't be more than that is about $800 to $1,500 for perfect work!

Let insurance do it's job or at fault person pay for it,

T

You can't fix this yourself. Body repair and refinishing is a specialized talent that takes years to master. You probably have $400 to $500 in repairs there.
