Dents on Mercedes C GLK suv door Sign In

a friend of mine had his car door kicked by some lunatic, and he thought it was me; thus, he is having me take responsibility for this and I have no proof that it wasn't me.

The rear right side of the door had been kicked on flat with someone's foot. 4 small dents are visible. He said that mercedes dealership gave him an estimate of $2500, and I am not capable of coming up with this kind of money. Would Paintless Dent remover be an option for this? There was no paint damage, and the dents are not even that deep ... it was a human beings foot...

How much would this cost at a local mechanic? What other options do I have other than shelling out $2500 to mercedes?

At this point, he thinks it's me, so if it's cheap, I am willing to pay a reasonable price to shut him up.
Sorry for not having photos, I have been asking him for pictures of the damage, but he has not come through. I am desperate.

If you did it or paid for it, it's yours and fess up. Pay for it if so and shame on you. Nothing more need be said - you did it or you didn't?

I didn't do it, but he is convinced it was me. That's why I am asking if there are other alternatives than bringing the car to a mercedes dealerhip. I think $2500 is a little too much if someone just kicked his door ...

If I had to pay for it, do any of you think that a PDR would work?

It would have to be inspected by the dent people to know that. Why on earth would an innocent person pay for something they didn't do unless they really did?

because his parents hate me, and I was smoking outside when he found out. I got a little more information. He said that the door frame was bent ... I don't understand how a human being can mend steel ...

Oh Mr. Scotty - as Hammer said, if you didn't do it then no problem and if you did, PAY UP! If done you just lost your shopping for some bargain price! Love my cars and would go nuts if happened to me,

Tom

Happy INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Fixed now...................

Hmmm....That statement is a little telling....... Sounds like the "lunatic" didn't realize just how damage a little tiny itsy bitsy kick could do.........to a MERCEDES......
