Dodge Caravan Power Window Motor Clip
I am replacing the front passenger power window motor in my 2006 Grand Caravan. Since the vehicle is pretty old I got the replacement motor from a junk yard. In order to get the old motor off I had to break the body clips. I am having trouble finding the correct replacement clips. I have looked through autozones website to no avail. The link below is a video of the process Link deleted ..................... not allowed Does anyone know where I can find these clips or have a workaround?

I deleted your link as they are not allowed here. Here is a picture of what you are referring to. Your dilemma is one of the risks of using used parts. The dealer is about the only place you are going to find those clips. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

They suspend the motor off the steel frame and absorb vibration. I wouldn't use anything but the exact mounting hardware it came with. I don't know why you put a junkyard part in there in the first place. You can buy the whole regulator with a motor for under $100 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I was just trying to save cash and given the age of the vehicle figured it wouldn’t hurt. I wish I would have known about the hardware kit ahead of time, I would have spent the extra $25 and got the new one. Hopefully the dealership will sell just the hardware kit... Thanks Hammer

The other day I found some 1/2” nylon body rivets at Autozone that looked like they would work. It was not my preferred product because it looked like I would need to secure the backside of the rivet with some glue. I decided to give it a try and it works!
