Hello,
New here and really need help! I own a 2013gmc sierra 1500 sle extra cab.door handle is off and latch will not release from striker. I went in manually and tried to release latch,nothing ive tried every which way. Ican open the back door enough to see the striker a little bit. Anyone deal with this kind of situation?

That can be one of the toughest things to do. About the only thing you can do is manipulate the latch internally.
It would be helpful if you could get the door panel off but that can be real tough too with the door closed. See if you can at least pull back the top of the door panel and get a good look at the latch to see if you can tell what's holding it back and get it to release.
I suspect the lock is stuck on.
