Sign In I have a 2003 VW Jetta wagon TDI with a rust hole just behind the passenger side wheel well. It’s down below the rocker panel. I successfully repaired a similar hole on the opposite side using short strand fiberglass body filler. When I repaired it I used a Bondo self adhesive aluminum body patch as a base for the filler. The new repair area is bigger. Home Depot has a very similar patch for drywall that is larger: Link deleted ........ not allowed Do you think this would work ok? Thanks.
