Glass question. - 1988 Astro Van Sign In

I have an 88 Chevy Astro van, and the rear-most side window on the passenger side is smashed. I need to know what years have the same window size and shape, and if the Safari has the identical window or not. Does anyone here know?

Thank you

That is information you get from the junkyard. They have very specific interchange books that the rest of the business doesn't have access to.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize it was proprietary,

RickV - All: I always find the serious "junkyards" have that info what parts interchange. If available to anyone you pay for it which isn't cost effective for just everyone to have.

This being a GM product (most popular products) try to get the most use out of one shape or design of all kinds of things so are identical or not.

My local place in person only will hand me a printed sheet what which model years under all names of vehicles are the right match for whatever part(s) then a part #. Next page that place has a list of what row the possible vehicles are in.

I go look and or get what I need or they take out parts (any the sell) if you can't as they aren't letting YOU out there with wild tools or a vehicle to carry stuff.

If the place is well inventoried and do not have all or what you need they should be or at least can be connected to many other places that have inventoried their parts.
If you begin by phone or other way have your VIN # ready as they may ask,

T
