Glove Box Half On?	Sign In

So I finally got myself a car (hooray!!), so I won't be needing to use my husband's anymore.

It's a 2003 Chrysler Sebring LXi, sedan.

The Glove box isn't broken (at least it doesn't look it at all), but it's only half attached on the bottom. The picture below is one I found online to better explain my issue. The bottom right side's little curve isn't tucked into where it should be, so when I open the glove bow, it just kind of dangles there. I can open and close it fine, I just have to make sure it's positioned properly. Is there an easy way for me to fix it, or is it going to require having to take the whole thing off?? Any tips on taking it off, if that's the case?? Thanks!

GLOVE BOX

REMOVAL

1. Open glove box.
2. Push in on sides of glove box bin and lower door.
3. Pivot glove box downward and disengage hinge hooks from instrument panel.
4. Remove glove box.

INSTALLATION

1. Place glove box in position.
2. Engage hinge hooks into instrument panel and pivot glove box upward.
3. Push in sides of glove box bin and snap glove box assembly into instrument panel.
4. Close glove box door.

If you look at the bottom you have 2 hinges facing one way and the 3rd facing the other direction.
With the door fully open start at one end hooking the hinge on the bar, then hook the second hinge and then pry it to get the 3rd one over the bar.
