Replace an 06 Prius door?

Hi, I've got a big dent in the back left door of my 06 Prius, and the quotes to repair are coming in a bit steep (£400-500). I am an able DIYer but never tried to do anything on a car. Am I barking up the wrong tree completely to consider finding a second hand door from a scrap car of the same model and colour, and attempting to swap them over myself?

Actually I'm not too surprised at the cost I think is about 1.4 times that # in US$ where this site is based. Is it DIY able? Can't know if you can evaluate if only the door or more involved which would send the repair up to paint and fix which most people wouldn't do well without the tools and experience then paint! Agree - if the fix is that high than how much for a whole exact fit door? You need to search that out down to any options, exact color and model year so really should be able to plug it in electrically and just remove door hinge parts as needed if you find good enough. If wrong color door panel is yours still good? It's not my trained trade but have done several whole doors by color to eliminate need for paint or fixing damage. Near impossible to know so you'll need to plain find out at least how much a door is going to cost used. I'd also want it close by to look before deciding on the scrap car and insist wiring isn't just cut but unplugged same plugs you have now hidden no doubt where I dare say inside the car beyond a snorkel that hides wiring. Gotta find out if door only is a fix or what then the price of the whole door, T
