Wet Sanding to Fix Clear-coat? Sign In

A few weeks after I bought my car, I noticed that the clear-coat had spots where it wasn't shiny. My guess is the previous owner parked it under a tree with sap and well we all know how that goes. My question is what is the best way of fixing the clear-coat on my car? I've looked into wet-sanding and am not sure if it would work for this situation? If not, any other ideas?

Sorry for the late response but I really think you need a real auto body shop to look at that in person to help you,
