Sure that can be repaired. You should swing into a local body shop and get some estimates. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

They have methods such as using dent pullers or cutting out the smashed up pieces and using parts of a panel off another vehicles to repair it. Believe me, a good quality and experienced body shop can do amazing things with metal. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Half of the shop I work in does Auto body. You have severe damage in structural areas that are enclosed and boxed in. The door would have been repairable if the hit was in a different place but that is going to need at least a new door skin. The damage behind the door is going to be far more difficult to repair because the door jam itself is severely damged. They will probably buy that section used and cut out the damaged part and section a new piece in. It will not be a quick or cheap job by any means. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
