On a 1996 Ford E250 the front bearing failed. I took it all apart but cant get the bearing to come lose, looks like it is seized to the spindle. Is there any trick get it off? Or will the spindle and all have to be replaced? It is the outer bearing so I cant get the entire hub/rotor assembly off. thanks in advance for an answer

I'm afraid not. What happens it the bearing gets so hot that it welds itself right to the spindle. Sometimes to can cut them off but the spindle will be so damaged that it couldn't be reused anyway. You're going to have to replace the knuckle and probably the rotor also. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
