I have a 91 Chevy Cavalier and the brake hose cracked. While replacing the hose the brake line broke about 1 inch from where it connects to the hose. My question is if anyone knows the repair cost at a shop in Saskatchewan to replace the broken brake line?? It is the drivers side front brake line. Also do they need to replace the entire line or just the section that broke? Thank you

We don't know what people will charge you. You would have to call a shop and ask. Its a pretty simple repair. You would be replacing the entire section, which isn't a very long piece anyhow. There is no reason to patch it, brake line is cheap. Besides, if you fix a rusty line in one spot its just going to break at the next weak spot and you're in the same trouble again. You don't have proper brakes, so you'll need to get it towed. Call around, see what kind of pricing you get. But don't try driving it anywhere.
