Good morning/afternoon/or evening
Background information (more usefull stop towards the bottom)
I was gifted a 2000 ford ranger my dad won in an action.
Up untill recently it worked more or less well. The brakes were all ways spongy. I knew they needed to be worked on and I was waiting for new brakes and rotors to come in the mail.
Unfortunately my brakes gave out almost completely. I had almost no stopping power one morning. I took it to a parking lot to work on
More useful stuff (summary of all this will at the bottom)
So far I've changed the brake pads, that didn't help. I notice my brake fluid had run dry, I put in more brake fluid and saw that I had a leak. I replaced so of my brake line to fix the leak. I knew I need to bleed my brakes but I was unable to loosen the bleeder "nipple". This forced me to replace all my calipers and drum brake cylinders. I than bleed my brakes.
Still with my brakes hitting the floor with no resistance I removed the master cylinder and bench bled it.
Useful information/summary
Ford 2000 ranger 4wd with abs
I've replace part of my brake line
Replace front calibers
Replace rear drum cylinders
Bled my brakes several times
Bench bled my master cylinder
Current condition
My truck brakes feel strong when the car is off
When powered on the brakes feel none existent
When on SOMETIMES the brakes have power, and the strength varies from not having any brakes to feeling like a normal vehicle.
Current ideas
Something abs related
Maybe I need a new master cylinder
I'm out of ideas, and money. I've been working in this for several weeks and I need this to get fixed, I'm a marine and need the vehicle for work.

Brakes are not "learn as you go". You really need to stop experimenting and let a professional look at this truck before someone gets hurt.
If you really want to learn how to work on your own car, start with something less dangerous to make a mistake on.

Agree with Hammer just want to add ASK for a NEW master cylinder even if it seems to behave or does it's beat or crusty inside you can't see will fail early no reason for a surprise if the rest was that neglected it's going to be junk - unacceptable to mess this up not that costly to add that by request,
