I drive a 2012 Chevy Malibu and something is wrong with brakes. The drive side tires have brake fluid all in them and I can hear a click click when i am picking up speed. Then I have to slow down to a crawl just to brake, they don't instantly stop anymore. And it's a slow grinding when I am braking. How much might this set me back to repair, I am very worried (obviously neglect has caused this and I accept that responsibility). I have 75,000 miles on my car. (also realized I need to fix this ASAP but am wondering if I can afford it)

first and most important STOP using the vehicle and get the issue repaired.
I can assure the repair will be less than a replacement vehicle, substantially less than your expenses if there is an accident.
You will need an inspection of the brake system- many shops will waive inspection costs/fees when they do the repair.
The repair cost without seeing the system and what is needed would be taking a wild guess and not helpful.

Maybe you should have it towed. You empty the master and you won't have any brakes. Wouldn't rely too much on the parking brake getting it to stop if someone runs out in front of you.

Just following up, I did get my situation straightened out and will not let it ever get to that point again. Lesson learned on my car and my wallet.
