Hi,
I'm doing a job tomorrow morning on a Toyota Matrix 2010, see below for full specs:
2010
Toyota
Matrix
2.4L FWD
84 000 KM
I never saw a break pad being uneven like this. See the image attached. The top of the brake pad is wore as the bottom has no wear at all. I don't get how the pad could use only on the top like this and no wear on the bottom. The top is now at the metal.
I checked the caliper pins and they weren't seized and well lubrificated. The piston seems to work well too as the inside brake pad doesn't show any irregular wear.
Please help me, nobody could at the workshop...
