Re: brake light on Sign In

There are 3 different reasons that light can come on

  1. Low brake fluid
  2. Parking brake applied
  3. Hydraulic imbalance in the system (likely low pedal)

Re: brake light on Sign In

? Maybe parking brake itself especially if rear disc this has a small drum brake hidden inside the rotor. Cables to that can stick/corrode and parking brake isn't really fully retracted. Cable(s) should just by feel spring back if just pulled on some from underneath the van. Worth a check and easy enough,

T

The switch that triggers that should be on the parking brake mechanism so you should be able to inspect it there.
