leaking brake fittngs

Hello everyone, this is a 2001 grand am 3.4 engine, the brake fitting at the abs pump leaks even i close it tight, what are the chances I have here to replace the hole pump need your advice it only leaks in one fitting.

I'm thinking with Nick as usual. If you made up a section of line you need to look at the flare carefully. Yes, you can split line and it will never seal. Line is cheap and you can practice with a piece to get the hang of it.
Know that before you put a wrench on a line you should have a known feel that it's not crossed up. A couple turns with your fingers first should do. No telling what can get screwed up if you cross one up,

thank you for the response, I was replacing the two rear lines, all the way from the pump to the wheels, the one that goes to rear right is leaking at the ABS fitting, i thing it's crossed, is there anything that can be done, or my option is replace the pump. need your advice.

This could be trouble! Flare nut is probably steel and the ABS may not and would lose that battle. Overtightening alone could be the problem.
You may not know unless you remove it and look. Just a wild maybe you could try a new dummy to rethread it better AYOR with any of that.
If there's a fix kit for that I just don't know of one if ABS is messed up. It's leaking now so guess you have to try something,

Was this a premade line or did you flare it? Was it a 45 degree or a bubble flare?
The line nut is steel, the abs block is aluminum. If you think this is cross-threaded you might get lucky like Tom said. Try threading in just a line nut with no line on it. Might chase the threads a bit to make it go in straight. If that doesn't work, your block is junk. I don't know of any way to fix threads on that.
When you install lines it can be a real pain to line the new one up and get the line nut started. You need to keep the line moving around loose and up near the top of the fitting, not bottomed down in the hole. You should get a few threads started with your fingers before you use a wrench. This makes sure you are not going in at an angle. Sometimes you might have to grab the line by hand and adjust the angle slightly to get everything to line up straight. Getting good at it comes with practice.

I dare say Nick and I are all over this crap from rusted lines. I have preferred to buy the longest lines and make ends as called for with unions as sometimes routing is a problem if one line off a roll. You can get the flare nuts just by buying a cheap short line cheaper than the nuts.
Good tubing cutter and flaring tool for many spots. A tubing bender so you don't kink line can help get nice looking work.
You may have a chance and won't know till you take that line off and use a NEW flare nut for a chance that it will take and threads OK to use. If you have a straight shot at it use a one foot line and put a union on it there on to where it goes.
My eyesight is shot but you can make flares from cut line that just don't work out and hopefully see the flaw before you put in in anything only to find it leaks and fine to try again if not crossing up the flare nuts. Those must go in assertively and surely a couple turns before you put a wrench on them as we've both said. You just get a feel for that. Remember the nut is not the seal, the line is to how it seats to whatever,
