OK Here's the deal I'm looking at a car for my college student to just drive to and from class. I don't want to spend much money so this is a post I'm looking at: 1991 Toyota Celica ST -Engine Knocks but runs -new back tires -less than 20,000 miles on complete suspension and steering rebuild -Transmission and drive train good. -damage to front right fender -sun roof works great, cd player -battery, alternator, starter all replaced within past 2 years. When I asked about the engine knock this is the response I got It has morphed push rods that are hitting the engine due to an oil leak and basically running out of oil. It would be able to make the trip from wichita to kc for sure. Not sure if it has 50 of THOSE trips in it....but definately some miles left on the car What does this mean and how big a fix is it? Thanks for any help and info on this...

"Engine Knock" - That alone could be so many things it's impossible to know from here. It sure isn't normal and could be something stupid or fatal for that engine! If you are still considering this car have that professionally diagnosed and if seller won't allow that I'd absolutely pass up that car. There are others out there. I smell a fish with this situation already, T
