1999 chev astro with noisy fuel pump

My 1999 Chev Astro cargo van has a fairly loud buzzing noise coming from the rear and I think it is the fuel pump. Is this normal? Could there be something wrong with it?

Fuel pumps do make audible noise. If the van is an empty unuphostered back you will hear it more. It could be normal but pay attention - if it gets louder get a new one quick. It's hard to tell how loud you are talking about with a computer, so if you have a chance just ask a pro to take two seconds for an opinion if you are worried about it. If it's already more noisy than it was it's probably going bad, Good luck,
