I have a 2000 Yukon Denali 5.7 with 150,000 miles. Recently heard a grinding metal sound in the front right hand side of the truck. Took apart the wheel and noticed raised rust lines on both the rotor and pad. Ended up replaceing caliper, rotors and pads on both sides. It needed all of the above, but still didn't fix the noise. Could this be my wheel bearing? The sound doesn't go away when the brakes are applied. Noise seems to go away when I turn right or sometimes when I hit a bump or a puddle seems to give me a few seconds of relief from the sound!

Check to see if the metal backing plate is contacting the rotor anywhere. It only has a small amount of clearance.
