Help! My car is making a low squealing noise when I am going under 25mph. It is an automatic...is it just a belt or is my transmission giving off early signs of death?

That's not enough to pin this down much. If speed related as suggested perhaps brake or bearing issues - anthing the spins with the speed of the vehicles really is suspect,
