2014 GMC squeaking

I have a 2014 GMC sierra with 5.3. Just started with a loud squeak on startup that goes away when warm. It will slightly come back between 3-4000 RPMs when warm. Doesnt seem to be belt related. I am thinking lifter/cam issues. Here is a video.

SQUEAK! Any oil in the thing? Sounds like a rock grinder to me. So - being a 2014 how is it that this isn't totally under warranty?
Some reasons would include: Salvage vehicle, damage from something, some kind of wild abuse if they could prove it. Look if over the miles of basic warranty powertrain should go much longer with a deductible for a wild engine problem that isn't some accident and sounds horrible to me,
