Hi...just needed help with my 206, i drove to university today and parked up, and when i switched the engine off..i could still hear a noise from the bonnet. so i opened the bonnet up to check what it could be and checked the engine oil, which seemed fine, then i checked the water however that was still at the level it was when i topped it up, and has gone all mucky. if anyone could help me out as to why it was making this fan kind of noise, i would be grateful!

Could it in fact BE A FAN for the radiator? Some designs allow engine to continue cooling after the vehicle is shut off. Need some more info/observations. How long did this last? The coolant level does need to be checked at the radiator and hot is NOT the time to open it up. Check your fluid levels again when the car is cold and let us know what you find, T
