'96 Chevy Corsica, Squealing on right-hand turns	Sign In

When turning right, a squealing/scraping noise comes from the front left wheel. This same noise is made while driving straight and applying the brakes. There is no noise while driving straight. The noise does not get noticeably louder over 10mph - it is pretty consistent as long as the tires are moving. However, the noise has been getting slightly worse with time.

All the belts are tightened down, and the alternator was just replaced, so it is definitely coming from the wheel. Haven't had a chance to check the brakes yet, but what would be the most likely cause of this? CV Joint? Old brakes? Wheel bearing? Bent brake shield?
