Car making a grinding noise when turning right Sign In

I have a
2003 Ford Escort ZX2
the mileage on it is now 100,000

My car was making somewhat of a grinding noise when I would turn right. I went in to have the CV joint changed and found out it was a broken inner tie rod so I had that fixed. When I first drove the car away it was fine, no more noise. The next day it started making that noise again. Only now it appears to be coming from the back drivers side instead of the front passengers side.
When the car was in the shop they did an inspection and everything is checked off as in good condition.
Could it be the tread on the tires making this noise?
Because I needed an alignment before and they did it after they changed the tie rods.

Grinding would or could be anything that rototes. Bearing, brake parts to rotor or drums etc. Wheel bearing comes to mind with this and wouldn't necessarily be found without a good drive and wouldn't prevent a good alignment if just noise and not loose (dangerous when that bad) so perhaps spin the suspect wheel when hoisted. Silence is golden!

Don't be surprised if the noise is transferred from the other side from what it seems,
