Car wheel making noise

I have a Vauxhall Corsa design 1.2 2005, I've noticed that when I have my windows open I can hear a racket like noise coming from my left front wheel whenever I go over bumps (slow or fast). The car recently had an interim service and had two new wheels put on in February for its MOT. Any ideas what this could be? Aside from the noise I haven't noticed anything else

The clue is two new wheels - why first? Anyway if it needed wheels I'd do a check list that they are correct, wheel lugs are properly tightened and any damage or poor fitting wheel trim this has I couldn't guess what type but most have stuff to pry off and put back on, mostly cheap plastic maybe metal barbs and doesn't hold on tight. Still curious why you needed wheels. If damaged from hitting something that would call for a full inspection for more damage not just wheel trim and likely an alignment best if you get a printout before and after and how far it was off or could reveal more damage unseen if it can't be put to specifications, T

I meant two new tyres, they just needed replacing as the previous ones were no longer legal. I will take it a to a garage when I get the time as I have no clue myself when it comes to cars and don't want to make anything worse myself. Thank you for your reply.

OK - so far the most likely might be wheel trim parts. Just bump any parts with your hand and see if there's anything loose. That stuff would be taken off to replace tires and some is so cheap they break or a maybe not on tight enough. It's not your thing and glad you said so but pay attention to noises. If anything hope nothing unsafe and if just a wheel trim ring/part some can be fixed if plastic is cracked or you might lose something and be looking for used or new to match again. Can't know as within models wheel styles change never mind they don't sell this car to the US doesn't matter I still wouldn't know all the styles possible. If you don't find anything take it back where they did the tires for a check I'm sure they be glad to if just wheel trim parts suggest what to do plus check that the lug nut or lug bolts are properly tight again, T

There are a number of things that could be rattling under there. Some of the important and some not so you really need to get it inspected as so as possible to make sure it's not something dangerous like a brake caliper coming loose or a loose wheel. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I will have another check in the morning and see if the trims are loose, if that doesn't work I'll just take it into the garage where they put the tyres on and see what they can do. Thank you very much for your reply and advice, greatly appreicated.

Certainly you want to know the car is totally right. I may have read too much into you just having whatever you meant by "interim service" and passed the MOT which I though was a very comprehensive vehicle check listed out if something isn't up to high standards. Tell me if that's wrong. Here (US) inspection vary from intense to none at ALL in some places. Either way you should want to know of a problem or hope so. Said - noises are warnings of potential serious problems and shouldn't stop checking until it's found, known what and fixed, T
