High Pitch Squealing and Steering Wheel Jerks Sign In

Hi everyone, I have a 2005 Chrysler Sebring and most times when I cold start the car my steering makes a high pitch squealing noise and the steering wheel starts to jerk a little. About 10 seconds of driving and turning the squealing stops and the steering wheel feels normal to turn. What do you think it could be?

Typical of a slipping belt. Check belt, tensioner if used, and fluid level. Quite possibly just a new belt would solve this as they stretch to limits,
