I went into a parking lot to turn around on Friday night and when I went to turn around onto a side street I thought it was a straight path down to the main road. However, it was not a flat exit, it was a big curb. When I went over I heard it scrap against the bottom of my vehicle. It didn't puncture tires or mess up the rims but it did make noise when I would accelerate or turn to the right. It sounds like it is only making the noise when I start accelerating and doesn't do it all the time. In addition to that sometimes when I turn to the right it makes the same noise around the right tire. I noticed when I looked under the car that a little bit of plastic is coming down that covers parts of my vehicle but they are still bolted and screwed down in the plastic. I don't know what to do but don't want to pay someone a lot of money to look at something I already know is going on or what area of my vehicle it is affecting. It doesn't seem to affect my car other than when I start to accelerate or turn to the right from time to time.

I strongly suggest you take this to a shop - an alignment shop for starters and have it professionally looked at. It may be some relatively insignifican plastic rubbing or a warning of a mechanical failure. There's no way to tell as this is basically collision damage and there's no set way of knowing what would be damaged without a thorough inspection, T
