I have a 2003 Hyundai Getz 1.1 which has just passed it MOT with no advisories. However it has just started making a strange intermitent scraping noise when travelling along. It isnt doing it when it is idle, only when travelling. It also stops when you put your foot on the brake. Sounds like it is coming from under the bonnet on the drivers side.. Any ideas as to what it could be? thanks

Brakes can do that and should be carefully inspected, even calipers taken off to get a real good look,
