Hello,
My 1991 MB 190 2.6L has been a little noisy for awhile now. We suspect is it the radiator because it has been leaking. The sound is like a metalic-y sound. Yesterday, I was pulling forward into a parking spot and hit the curb. Now it looks as if the radiator is leaking even worse, and now it is REALLY noisy. I suspect I will need to replace the radiator ASAP, but is there anything I can do to patch it up so that a) it does not leak so much, and b) it is not so insanely noisy?

The radiator itself shouldn't be able to make noise. Fans for it sure can. If the radiator is real expensive check out some radiator specialty shops and get the leak fixed. Check that out and DON'T let it overheat or get too low. Carry 50/50 antifreeze with you and watch or you'll get in real expensive trouble. T
