Most motor mounts are rubber vulcanized to metal and you wouldn't just move them with a finger and would cause issues if not replaced, T r286ps2 User May 21, 2015, 5:54 AM Post #3 of 6 (1229 views) Re: Motor Mount rubber loose Sign In It is a VW 1.8t 2005 GTI A VW person told me if I am having vibrations it could also be the dogbone mount, which attaches the transmission to the frame. I had the transmission rebuilt and they put the old dogbone mount back in maybe I should check that out also. The vibration is very slight not a big issue.
