I have a 2004 ford ka, 1.3l engine. 30,000 miles on clock. I noticed a strange noise when steering this evening. when turning steering wheel it gave a noise similar to the noise you would get if you have an item moving around loosely in the plastic glove compartment. or simular to the noise you would get if you had a button on the cuff of your sleeve touching the plastic steering wheel when steering the car. Any ideas what it could be? I was told by a mechanic last october that i have a slight leak on the power steering hose. Maybe its something to do with that!

Anne: Never seen one of those cars and doesn't matter. PS is PS. Noise is usually low fluid. Fill first and find out why it's low and fix it as not to will cost you big time! T
