Noises when accelerating from a stop 08 Mazda 6 Sign In

A few months ago my 08 Mazda 6 2.4L with 99000 miles on it started making a noise when I press on the accelerator when coming out of a stop, e.g. at a stop sign or at a light. It is only a momentary rattle sound then it goes away. A month later it started making a whining (idk if it's really the best way to describe it, please look at the 2nd video) noise when I'm at a stop with the car I'm drive. That sound like the first one goes away after the rpm goes up, i.e. It's only momentary and only happens after the car reaches operating temp. I already checked the exhaust shield and everything is fine with it. I brought it to a mechanic and they replaced the motor mount but the noises still continue. Any idea what could be leading to these noises? Thank you in advance everyone.

Changed second item to a link so it would fit in that post was soooo wide couldn't read it well at all.

First didn't show - error 404?

Sound heard is consistent with an exhaust part broken. Does that change the way it runs depends on just what it is. Since you had motor mount replaced there was probably a lot of stress on exhaust's front pipe to be checked.

That noise heard is only as good as the way I hear it does sound like a spot weld or more on heat shields used in most cars/trucks and whatever that do let go and sound horrible.

You were under there so to find which if not obvious tap on the exhaust parts - engine off and cold should find which area or part is doing that if not visual you'll hear it then when seen up close can find out what that will take to repair - some of those quite easy some need a whole section of exhaust - can't tell that easily.

If no codes and runs fine broken parts highly likely and common to me on anything even more because this even needed a motor mount,

(edit) Re-read that you checked heat shield? They can look fine and not be so don't rule them out. More than one common on cars some even wrap mufflers and definitely converters.......

I changed the first link. It should now be working. I first thought it was the exhaust shield but I tied metal clamp around it and the sound remained the same.

I've got to change it back it makes the post double wide and dumped the clickable link. Did hear it but inconclusive still. Here it is at a link you can click on......

To me it just sounds like stuff - rusted parts maybe inside what looks like a muffler in that one. Same suggestion sport - tap on the system for what makes noise that shouldn't.

Yes - parts can look excellent on the outside and be wrecked on the inside. Some sold as whole sections some like you found you could wire over already you thought that was a problem so why? Was it loose in your hands touching it now tight or just wire? Not the real fix. A spot welded shield can be put in place as those welds are the weak spot. Choose another spot if enough metal and drill thru for a nut and bolt or better than just wire.

Again - a motor mount was found bad so engine moved its full limit so torqued on the first flex pipe or joint hard. Either a woven/braided pipe or another way to allow motion expected and not leak.

If needed to pin it down listen to it properly hoisted overhead with proper lift a real shop would have and make it do it and listen with a stethoscope if need be.

What you'll find is most shops are not very willing to fake (my term) something rather if parts bad go new for as much of it as needed if the whole exhaust system.

This is strongly an exhaust issue yet can't be certain over the web.

Try this: Go to a "Muffler/Exhaust" specialty shop and see what they find. Not suggesting you have it done at any particular place just they do have stuff to make up sections and or weld in parts or create stuff. Beware though as made up welded stuff then means you can't buy parts that will fit bit by bit as exhaust does go and at some point of use and conditions they do not usually quite this new but neither was needing a motor mount?

Any idea why for that? Most are some extreme stress or sometimes an oil leaked on one or more and wrecked the rubber otherwise last ages.

I'm going back to fix the second link as it's way too wide to properly read the rest of this thread like that,

(edit) put them both up top. That host site isn't very compatible with this site for some reason?
