OHC cold valve adjust?

does anybody have a cold valve adjustment for 94 Toyota 22re truck?
the manuals and online says 0.008(intake) and 0.0012(exhaust) hot.
it will easier to work with cold and I don't want to get burned.
at running temp it is hot.

You can't get an accurate reading cold and that is why it has to be done hot.
