My son was driving his car and the transmission coolant line popped out and he stopped the car immediately after that. Is there a possibility that the transmission could've gotten damage? Just wondering, he stopped right away when it happened?

He should be fine. Just repair the line and fill the system back up with the proper fluid for the vehicle.
