It only started doing this after I took my car in for inspection in September and paid 2000.00 for repairs. The main repairs they did were new struts and changed the belts. When I first picked it up and turned it on, the engine made a terrible noise that I had never heard before. I've taken it back to the mechanic and he said it was the new belt. He adjusted it and said drive it for awhile to see if it gets better. It's been 3000 miles and it still is the same. Anyone have any ideas what they did to cause this problem? The car drove smoothly the entire time I have owned it before these repairs were done. There is something they probably missed, damaged, or installed improperly.
