Toyota Avalon rattle in rear suspension

Toyota Avalon (55,000 miles) suspension rattle, bang over small, modest bumps. This is a common problem with Avalons & Camrys. Mainly in rear, but now starting in front. Checked rear suspension and everything under car is tight-seems ok. Added washer to top of strut inside, behind backseat.

You may need a drive on lift or have the car on jack stands by the weight of the car (by the load to the wheels not just to the body) to look and see what's not right with a buddy bouncing the car. BE CAREFUL! SUPPORTING THE CAR AND GETTING UNDER IT CAN BE DANGEROUS!!!! If in doubt - DON'T and use your wallet and get help. T
