Does the scrapping noise change or go away if you apply the brakes?
Has there been any recent work done before you noticed the noise?

Video just sounds like 4 seconds of a microphone in the wind - no help.

IDK - Does noise change if you just lightly drag brakes? Need more info, noises are tough no matter what you do and hard to describe many times,

Does the scrapping noise sound rhythmatic? You may need another set of ears to ride with you to try and determine the location area of the noise.

Re: 2009 ford f150 scraping sound Sign In

Noises tough as said. There's also just looking at things too. You might be able to crawl under this without hoisting and just look at the rear u-joint see if any rust stain is there then turn driveshaft by hand look for any motion of the joint.

That's wild guessing but rear is more likely than a front can chirp and would be load sensitive even without any play in it? Those when bad can make assorted noises not all the same or could be about ready to fall off and make no noises at all.

I can't know fast but does this "super cab" version have just one driveshaft with just a u-joint at each end or a center bearing in the middle also? It shouldn't need to be designed that way but can't say for sure.

Any other clues - turns aggravate this at all?
