I have a 1994 Ford Explorer, 4 speed stick, with 213,000 miles. I have had a grinding noise that appeared to be coming from the front. Right front caliper had seized up and cracked rotor. Have replaced both front passenger & driver side rotors, calipers and brakes. What else could this be?

You need to examine it to be sure but you probably just bent the backing plate a little and it's rubbing on the rotor as long as the brakes appear to be working properly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
