i10 making noise on acceleration

Hi, My car,
Hyundai i10,
2011 model
Engine 1.2 kappa
12000 Kms
makes a weird sound when I press accelerator on low speed. The noise resembles the sound made by ball bearings when they are pressed against each other. The noise goes away when the car picks up speed. Can anybody help? I will go to the service station but want to get an idea beforehand so the mechanic does not charge for unnecessary and unwanted fixes.

On the maybe list is a bad CV joint or wheel bearing. ? 2011 - Isn't this car still under warranty?
