i am going nuts....i was driving home TODAY and all of the sudden heard a noise like metal scratching on metal coming from my car.. nothing happened i can't find anything wrong .. all i could think that i did minutes before that is going over a railroad track...car is working but the sound is pretty bad and sounds like its coming from behind what could be wrong??? SPRING in back could be broken? would it be expensive to repair?? ...I don't have any family in the town i live in and i don't know anybody here...i was just so happy to get home. don't know what to do with the car... its bad

Take it in to the closes garage and have it inspected, don’t just keep driving it. The noise could be a safety issue for you or anyone else on the streets.
Like I said have it inspected, you don’t have to let them do any repairs, but at least you’ll have an idea of what it is. Maybe a coworker can recommend a place.
