motor sound scary when releasing clutch when i put a gear in	Sign In

Hey!
Was wonder if anyone could help me with my car problem. The car works just great, but it sound scary when i release the clutch at low rpm, it is kinda ''hammering very high'' ( after I have put in gear with the clutch, it sounds nothing after that.) Does anyone know what causes this problem, and can I fix it myself? thanks for the help!

It makes that noise if you have the transmission in gear and engaging the clutch? Can you isolate the source of the noise? Like vibrations from paneling, exhaust, or etc?

Yes then it makes noise, can't isolate the source but it seems like it comes from inside the engine block...

We don't have that vehicle here in the states, but if it has a serpentine belt with an auto tensioner. Do you see the belt or tensioner flapping around when the noise is occurring?

i think it have one, will check it out tomorrow if it is flapping around, :)
