I forgot to add that the problem seems mostly on the drivers side and that occasionally I hear a heavy click sound when I hit a bump. Most of the time the sounds get milder as the car warms.

Chambie; If this is temperature related....How cold is it getting where you are located? Wondering if the fluid in the shocks/struts could be getting 'thicker' when cold and affecting the valving inside the unit? I noticed that in my vehicle after a couple weeks of sub-freezing weather. But has gone away, now. Just a wild guess.

Anything is possible. Gave the car to dad today, he is a guesser like me...he thinks I should spend the money on new shocks and see what that gets me. This is my first AWD vehicle. Im curous if there are parts not found on a typical 2wd that might be the source.
