just wondering if any one out there knows wether a power steering pump from a 1987 ford f-150 will fit into a 1995 ford aerostar 4wd van. I need a new one and i have one possibly available in this ford trunk and wonder if i can just use them interchangibly. please help me i don't want to have to take them both off just to find out that it is not possible. thank-you ahead of time to all who are able to help i really appreciate it.

I don't think there's a chance these can be the same engines in each vehicle. That is a problem right away. The pump itself might just be the same but pulleys are probably different and require a puller to R&R. Same if you buy a rebuilt you will need your old pulley. Ford had some issues with six or seven groove pulleys even within the same model year of the same vehicle so that has to be watched. I think I would consult a good salvage yard for interchangability and price out a known exact fit with pulley to save that hassle, T
