hi i am having some trouble trying 2 sort out a creaking noise coming from my suspension, it started only going over bumps but now it has got worse, i power washed all suspension components as they were covered in mud and this solved the problem for about a day. i then greased the springs and it stopped for a few hours but now the creak is almost constant does anyone have any advice?

Rule out truly worn suspension items that are a safety issue. There are lots of rubber to metal spots in susension front and rear in vehicles. Try bouncing the car a bit in place and see if you can duplicate the noise. Then spray suspect parts (watch what you are spraying!) with a light lube (silicone, WD-40 or what have you) at items ONE BY ONE and test that each time for which one or type corrected the noise. When found and if the item is safe but just making a noise like "squeaky clean" spray with a nozzle some lube that is heavier (greases by spray - again watch what you are spraying) for a longer lasting fix. I've found even plastic inner fender shields, bumper covers, body mounts of assorted types, spring lands etc., to be the cause - keep at it, T
